Position Overview:
As a Roofing Service Technician, you will:
- Perform repairs, installations, and maintenance on clay tile, slate, and copper roofing systems.
- Assess roof damage and provide accurate recommendations for repair or replacement.
- Work closely with clients to ensure their roofing needs are met with the highest level of quality and professionalism.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and historical preservation guidelines when applicable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and diagnose issues with clay tile, slate, and copper roofs.
- Replace or repair damaged materials with precision and care.
- Install and maintain flashing, gutters, and other copper components.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to complete projects on time.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all company and OSHA standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with clay tile, slate, and copper roofing systems.
- Strong understanding of roofing techniques, tools, and materials specific to these systems.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Physical ability to perform roofing tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or specifications is a plus.

- Overtime Pay: Overtime will be paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate for any hours worked over 40 in a workweek.
